Is “Dragon Ball Super” Ending, Or Is It on a Hiatus?

I just wanna clear something up since people are a little confused.

Hiatus = When an anime is on a pause but is resumed in the future.
Example: Fairy Tail went on a hiatus last year and it’s coming back this year with it’s final arc.

End = When an anime ends with no plans (at the moment) about a future series.
Example: Dragon Ball Z ended many years ago. It didn’t have any plans (at that time) to come back. But then we got “Dragon Ball Super”.
Dragon Ball Super is a different anime. It’s not Z. It may belong to the same franchise, but it’s treated as a different anime.

Dragon Ball Super is NOT on hiatus. It is ENDING.
Will we get something in the future? Personally, I think yes (might be even as soon as next year or in 2 years), but even when we do there’s a 99% chance it won’t be called “Dragon Ball Super”.
It might resume the story from where “Dragon Ball Super” ends, but the fact remains that Dragon Ball Super in itself, is over.

I’ve been covering all news related to this on my twitter and other social media. And we have a movie coming in December so I’ll cover all news related to that as well. If you have any questions, you can ask me. I usually respond within 24 hours.

In the meantime, come hang out with me on my Gaming YouTube channel or Twitch where I will be livestreaming Dragon Ball FighterZ!
